The past at Ferrari
After taking his first steps at Ferrari in 1991, Stefano Domenicali remained with the team until 2014, holding various roles over the years. The highest was that of Team Principal, which he assumed in 2008 after Jean Todt’s era, until 2014 when he resigned to embark on new experiences, leading to his current position at the helm of Formula 1.
Interest in Formula 1
In a message on sportmediaset.it, Stefano Domenicali commented on the recent official announcement of Lewis Hamilton’s signing and how this decision could benefit Formula 1: “Certainly, it’s very interesting news that has had an extraordinary response not only in Italy, in England, you can only imagine, but also around the world,” he stated. “This is a guarantee of extended attention to our world for the next year. It is certainly very positive, but I believe the impact will be significant for what could happen on the track within Ferrari and also Mercedes. The dynamics and relationships will change, and this will only be good for the interest in our championship.” – the former Ferrari team principal concluded.
