Kim Kardashian congratulates Lewis Hamilton after first Ferrari win
Lewis Hamilton’s first victory with Ferrari at the Spanish Grand Prix immediately became one of the most talked-about moments of the Formula 1 season, and the celebrations quickly extended beyond the paddock. Shortly after the race, a video emerged showing that Kim Kardashian was on a call with the seven-time world champion to congratulate him on his breakthrough win in red.
The moment added an unexpected celebrity touch to an already emotional afternoon for Hamilton. After finally securing his maiden Grand Prix victory as a Ferrari driver, the British driver received congratulations from across the Formula 1 world, Ferrari fans and several high-profile figures outside the sport.
In the clip, Kim Kardashian could be heard on speakerphone asking Hamilton how he was feeling after the race. The Ferrari driver kept his answer short, but his reaction said everything.
“Unreal,” Lewis Hamilton replied.
A special moment after a landmark Ferrari victory
For Hamilton, the Spanish Grand Prix win was far more than just another race victory. It marked his first triumph with Ferrari and represented a major milestone in one of the most closely watched moves in recent Formula 1 history.
Since joining the Maranello team, the Briton has faced huge expectations. Every performance has been analysed in detail, with fans and critics waiting to see when the partnership between Formula 1’s most successful driver and its most iconic team would finally deliver a victory.
That moment arrived in Spain, where Lewis Hamilton produced a race-winning performance that gave Ferrari a major boost and sparked emotional scenes after the chequered flag. The brief call with Kim Kardashian captured just how big the moment felt, not only inside Formula 1 but also across the wider sports and entertainment world.
Hamilton’s Ferrari win attracts global attention
Lewis Hamilton has always been one of Formula 1’s most recognisable global figures, with an influence that reaches far beyond motorsport. His fashion links, celebrity friendships and cultural impact have helped bring new audiences to F1 over the years.
That is why Kardashian’s congratulatory call quickly became part of the story surrounding his Spanish Grand Prix success. While the on-track achievement remained the main focus, the reaction around the win showed once again how Hamilton’s career continues to connect Formula 1 with mainstream culture.
For Ferrari fans, however, the most important detail remains the result itself. The seven-time world champion’s victory proved that the Scuderia can fight for the top step of the podium and gave supporters a moment they had been waiting for since his arrival at Maranello.
A simple reaction that summed up the emotion
Hamilton’s one-word answer, “Unreal,” perfectly reflected the magnitude of the occasion. After a difficult adaptation period and intense pressure, winning in Ferrari colours carried a unique emotional weight.
The Spanish Grand Prix may now be remembered as a turning point in Hamilton’s Ferrari chapter. It delivered the result he had been chasing, reignited momentum for the team and created a wave of attention both inside and outside Formula 1.
With the first win finally secured, Hamilton and Ferrari will now look to build on the success in the coming rounds. But the celebrations in Spain, including that brief call with Kim Kardashian, underlined just how significant this victory was for one of the biggest names in the sport.
