We’re almost there. In fact, there are no more races separating Lewis Hamilton from Ferrari, whose union will be officially sealed on track at the start of 2025.

Just a few weeks remain, but the seven-time world champion can’t wait to wear the red suit (he already symbolically wore red when he arrived at the Yas Marina paddock yesterday). After finishing the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in fourth place, the seven-time world champion consoled a disappointed Charles Leclerc over the team’s failure to clinch the constructors’ title and then—away from the spotlight—headed to Ferrari’s garage for his very first meeting with his future team.

Lewis Hamilton’s gesture has gone viral on social media and is already fueling excitement for 2025. After all, this is about two worlds joining forces for a shared goal: winning the World Championship and doing so with an iconic pairing, at least in theory. Ferrari fans hope it will be the same in reality.
