The upcoming Ferrari design change for the Miami Grand Prix will be a unique occurrence, showcasing two historic shades of blue – Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino. This change will commemorate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari’s establishment in North America. This design alteration carries significant historical weight. The iconic Rosso Corsa, synonymous with Italian racing cars since the 1920s, was temporarily replaced by the white and blue livery of the United States in the final two races of the 1964 Formula 1 season. This combination was also utilized on select Ferrari racing cars by the North American Racing Team (N.A.R.T.).
