Video: Charles Leclerc reacts to P2 in 2023 Baku F1 Sprint: “Red Bulls still have upper hand”. Charles reacts to P2 in 2023 Baku F1 Sprint.

Charles Leclerc reacts to P2 in the 2023 Azerbaijan GP Sprint race after finishing behind the Red Bull of Sergio Perez at the Baku City Circuit

“It confirms a little bit what we thought. The Red Bulls still have the upper hand in the race. We, again, must not forget how far we were behind in race pace two races ago. We did a step forward. We are still not where we want to be, but if winning is not possible then we just need to take the maximum points. Today there wasn’t anything more, so happy with the second place. We will try to go for the win tomorrow, even though the Red Bull seems a bit quicker. I didn’t fight Checo too much because I wanted to try to keep my tyres as I knew this was our weak point. I tried to stay within the DRS of Checo so he could pull me on the straight, but that wasn’t enough. We were losing a little bit too much towards the end with the degradation. Let’s see what’s possible to improve tomorrow and we will give our all.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc said immediately after the Azerbaijan GP Sprint race in Baku.
