A lot of people ask Kym Illman what it’s like to shoot Formula One professionally. Well, he now tells us about a typical day (or 3) at the track, and the track I has chosen is the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne. He runs us through his F1 photography kit, what it takes to be a professional F1 photographer, and how a 2022 F1 race weekend works for him. This obscure job is a lot more difficult and time consuming than you think. This is a day in the life of an F1 photographer.
