Updated F1 drivers’ and constructors’ standings after USA GP: Ferrari gains key points against Mercedes. Updated F1 standings after the United States Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri (McLaren MCL39) race start 2025 F1

Max Verstappen claimed victory at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, helping Ferrari close the gap in the championship standings. Here’s how the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships have changed after the race.

The Red Bull driver took his third win in four races, cutting further into the points lead at the top of the standings. The Dutchman continues his charge toward the title, while Ferrari also enjoyed a productive weekend, taking advantage of a difficult race for Mercedes and an unlucky one for Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

The F1 championship battle reignited in Austin, a crucial round for both title races. McLaren has already secured the Constructors’ Championship mathematically after its triumph in Singapore, but behind the team from Woking the fight remains open. The battle for second place in the standings involves all major contenders: Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull are separated by just a few points, setting up an exciting finish to the season.

Meanwhile, the Drivers’ Championship is still up for grabs, with Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, and Max Verstappen set to fight for the crown in the final five rounds following the Texas Grand Prix.
