The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix has come to an end, and the new driver and constructor standings are now updated after the intense race at Marina Bay, where McLaren officially sealed the world championship title.
The tension was high from the very start, as Lando Norris slightly nudged Max Verstappen from behind while also brushing against Oscar Piastri from the side, damaging his car in the process. Despite that, McLaren still delivered a strong performance, securing its second consecutive constructors’ championship. Mercedes was the big surprise of the weekend, with George Russell taking an impressive victory under the lights. Ferrari, on the other hand, had a rather anonymous race, with Lewis Hamilton nearly forced to retire on the final lap, while Max Verstappen showed great resilience.
