In the fifth running of Formula 1’s Drivers’ Driver of the Year vote, the official F1 website reports how full-time drivers voted as their were asked to assess their opponents’ performance on track during the 2022 championship and make their personal top ten ranking. Just like in the previous seasons, the rules give drivers the possibility to vote for themselves – with not all of them choosing to do so, according to Lawrence Barretto.

Scores were given based on the current Formula 1 points system. This means that the first driver on each list received 25 points, while the driver in tenth position got one point.
