Telemetry shows the Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen going into last chicane at the Suzuka circuit in the qualifying session for the 2022 Formula 1 Japan Grand Prix, but lost around a tenth here to the Dutchman and ended up P2 and P3.
Charles Leclerc came out of Spoon corner with a 2 tenths advantage on Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz:
