Stefano Domenicali’s words on Lewis Hamilton
“Without beating around the bush, I believe Lewis didn’t expect to face such a difficult start to the season. We are talking about a champion with vast experience. I think the situation will look different in the future, but I was struck by that moment of humanity revealed in the statement he made during the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend,” Stefano Domenicali told Roberto Chinchero in an exclusive interview.
“After that moment, we met and talked. It was a human moment of weakness tied to the challenges he is facing in a context that has probably proven more complex than expected. But his character will come through, and he will react together with the team. I think he is in a crucial phase of his career. He has embarked on a new challenge with the aim of making history by winning with Ferrari, and that must remain his goal. Lewis must not let negative thoughts take over because he is a great champion; he must continue to fight for the extraordinary goal he has set for himself,” Stefano Domenicali added ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, which is set to take place this weekend at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
