Speed crossing Finish Line at Zandvoort: Ferrari fastest when DRS was inactive | 2023 Dutch GP. Speed crossing Finish Line at Zandvoort.

Let’s take a look at the speed crossing Finish Line at the Zandvoort circuit based on data collected in the 2023 Formula 1 Dutch GP:

In Zandvoort, Scuderia Ferrari opted for a less heavily loaded rear wing compared to many other teams, particularly Red Bull. This adjustment resulted in an enhanced top speed, particularly when the DRS system wasn’t in use.

Throughout this season, the Ferrari SF-23 car has consistently demonstrated its low-drag characteristics relative to other competitors in various setups.

Ferrari was fastest when the DRS was inactive: the car has low drag, which should be a good sign in view of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza!

Red Bull never used DRS at the Zandvoort circuit. As a result, their speed was unremarkable (draggy rear wing)

Highest: 328km/h (Haas)
