Spanish GP: Madrid becomes Europe’s new F1 entertainment capital. F1 Arcade opens its first continental European venue in Madrid.

In the Spanish capital, the first themed venue dedicated to Formula 1 in continental Europe will open tomorrow, ahead of the major event scheduled for September.

F1 Arcade, the first official experiential hospitality concept linked to Formula 1, will open its first continental European venue in Madrid. The inauguration is scheduled for tomorrow, coinciding with the arrival of the Spanish GP at the new Madring circuit around IFEMA, the major commercial hub of the Spanish capital. This opening marks a major moment of excitement for motorsport in Spain, strengthening the fan community and offering a unique immersive experience.

The venue is located in a prestigious area of Madrid, at Paseo de la Castellana 103, one of the city’s main arteries, surrounded by iconic buildings and high-end commercial zones. The building will host a modern and accessible space, ideal for attracting both residents and tourists passionate about Formula 1.

The space and facilities of F1 Arcade

The venue will span 1,500 square metres across two floors, with a total capacity of around 400 guests. At the centre of the experience will be 65 next-generation full-motion simulators, exclusively developed for F1 Arcade, designed to faithfully replicate the sensations of driving a Formula 1 car, with dynamic movement, tactile feedback and advanced graphics, suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced sim racers.

Key features include:

  • Two VIP areas for exclusive experiences.
  • A 12-metre central bar, the focal point for socialising and drinks.
  • Dedicated zones for groups and private events.
  • The Briefing Room, a private space with 18 simulators and seating for around 100 guests in dining format, perfect for corporate events, product launches or celebrations.

The experience goes beyond racing. The menu is internationally inspired, featuring elevated, high-quality dishes paired with signature cocktails and premium drinks. Everything is designed to integrate with the adrenaline of the simulations, creating the perfect environment for breaks between races.

Game modes and experiences

Entertainment options are varied and inclusive:

  • One-on-one races or up to 3 drivers competing simultaneously.
  • Team competitions for larger groups.
  • Immersive watch parties to follow live Grands Prix on big screens, with a fan zone atmosphere. Suitable for all ages, encouraging social interaction and friendly competition.

The venue will feature an ultra-immersive design: neon lights reproducing iconic circuit layouts, walls decorated with hand-painted skid marks, lighting that simulates Formula 1 starting grid lights, and aesthetic details that transport visitors directly into the world of motorsport.

This opening is a key step in the expansion of F1 Arcade, which already operates venues in the United Kingdom (London, Birmingham) and the United States (Boston, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta and others). Madrid will further strengthen the Formula 1 fanbase in Spain, creating a community engaged before, during and after the Spanish GP.
