Ferrari gears up to unveil 2026 F1 car as Hamilton and Leclerc look to bounce back

Scuderia Ferrari is preparing to reveal its highly anticipated 2026 Formula 1 car next week at the Scuderia’s Fiorano headquarters, marking the start of what could be a pivotal season for the Italian team. After a challenging 2025 campaign that ended without a single Grand Prix victory, Ferrari enters the new season determined to reclaim its position at the sharp end of the grid.

Lewis Hamilton struggled throughout his debut year at Maranello, failing to reach the podium for the first time in his illustrious Formula 1 career. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc carried much of the hope for the team, but even the Monegasque driver could not fully offset the shortcomings of the SF-25. With the 2026 regulation overhaul promising major changes to car design, aerodynamics, and power unit performance, Ferrari has a rare chance to reset and mount a title challenge.

Team principal Fred Vasseur has emphasized that the SF-26 launch will be more than just a formality. The car represents Ferrari’s bid to finally end its long championship drought, which stretches back to the 2008 season, and to provide both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc with machinery capable of competing for victories on a consistent basis.

In keeping with tradition, the Italian side has not revealed details about the car’s final livery or on-track appearance. The tifosi are left to speculate on what the iconic red machine might look like when it hits the tarmac during testing and the first pre-season sessions in Barcelona.

To give supporters a visual idea of what the SF-26 could look like, RacingNews365, a daily motorsport and Formula 1 news outlet, has created a concept livery. This mock-up attempts to capture Ferrari’s signature style while incorporating possible design cues and sponsor placements for the 2026 season.

As anticipation builds ahead of the official launch event, Ferrari fans and F1 enthusiasts alike are invited to share their opinions on the concept design and debate what innovations the 2026 car might bring to the championship battle. With Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc both aiming to extract maximum performance from their new machine, this season could set the tone for a dramatic reshaping of Formula 1’s competitive order.

Check out the concept livery below and let us know your thoughts in the comment section. Could this be the car that finally ends Ferrari’s title drought and brings Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc back to the top step of the podium?
