Ferrari did not bring the updates that were ready for Baku: some solutions were planned to debut in Miami, since the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend allows only one session of free practice and in just one hour it is not possible to evaluate the changes to prepare the SF-23 single-seater for qualifying.
Therefore, the red car, in the Azerbaijan event, only presents functional adjustments specific to the characteristics of the track: there are two versions of the front wing. The first one, more unloaded, is linked to the search for maximum speeds, but there is also a second one that is different: we notice the presence of a small nolder in the portion of the mobile flap closest to the chassis.
On the SF-23, the modified floor that made its debut in Melbourne has been confirmed: in Giorgio Piola’s image presented by Motorsport Italy, the metal tie anchored to the sidewalk can also be observed further forward than before. The small rake mounted on the floor with four sensors that will be useful in collecting aerodynamic data tomorrow is not overlooked either.
Note Ferrari’s finesse: to prevent the flow sensors from being damaged, they were covered with red caps…
