Scuderia Ferrari drivers Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc share their thoughts ahead of the 2020 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit:
Charles Leclerc: “Personally I am happy with this season, I developed as a driver a lot this season. I did a big step from last year to this year. On the other hand it is a frustrating season, I want more, I want to fight for the top positions. And I am sure next year will be a big step forward so I am looking forward to next year to show the people how much we improved!”
“Last race of the season, I hope we can finish the race on high. It is not been an easy season for us. We try to have a good last race! But it is part of the game. We’ve been struggling this year but we are working extremely well, we accepted the situation early on in the season and we worked step by step and now we are in a better place than at the beginning of the year.” – Charles explained.
Sebastian Vettel: “We had a difficult year, but looking back and reflecting on all the years I think we had a great time together, and really good times, those will be all the emotions, all the memories that will stay. It’s probably been a tough ending to a great time with Ferrari. Especially I will miss the guys in the garage. I really want to race my heart out today for them. I’ve enjoyed so much support from the tifosi. I can only be grateful”.
Will we see some donuts at the end of the race?
Seb: “I don’t know, it depends on the race! We will see!”
