2023 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand weather forecast
It is almost time for the first round of the 2023 Formula One championship, which gets underway at the Bahrain International Circuit. Here’s what the weather has in store for the drivers and teams in Sakhir.
Given the fact that the Sakhir International Circuit is located in the middle of a desert, sand storms are an issue, even more so when high winds are about – as was memorably the case two years ago during the pre-season testing session, which seemed as if it took place on Mars!
Sunny and pleasant conditions are expected for the Sakhir event. Temparatures for the 2023 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix are expected to be in the mid-to-high 20 degree Celsius region, with the mercury falling as the sun goes down in the afternoon. Winds are expected to be light, coming from the West and South-West, which translates to cross-winds on both the pit and back-straights which run in a roughly North/South direction.
