Red Bull & Ferrari Do Honest Battle In Singapore

According to a recent report from German automobile magazine ‘Auto Motor und Sport’, the offer which the FIA has made to Red Bull in order to reach an agreement for the budget cap breach is for the Austrian team to receive a fine, but most importantly also a deduction of 25% of the wind tunnel time for the next Formula 1 championship.

In case the recent reports from the German media are indeed accurate and the FIA have considered a further 25% reduction in ATR (aerodynamic testing restriction) as a punishment for Red Bull Racing, the Austrian side would be operating at 45% on the scale for the first period (1 January to 30 June), as pointed out by F1 expert and Tech Analyst Matthew Somerfield:

This also depends if it’s 25% of the full allocation (down to 45%) or 25% of their 70% level (down to 52.5%). Nonetheless, it would be a massive penalty
