Ferrari under FIA scrutiny again: more checks on Charles Leclerc’s SF-25, the outcome
For the fourth time in ten Grands Prix, the International Federation has “randomly selected” Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari for a technical inspection.
It’s a mathematically curious fact, considering that each car has a 10% chance of being selected at every race.
More than a random draw, it seems like an actual pattern of targeting—possibly influenced by the double disqualification Ferrari suffered in China, which may have raised concerns within the FIA.
After the Canadian Grand Prix, FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer examined specific areas of Charles Leclerc’s SF-25, but not only that: the Mercedes of George Russell and McLaren of Oscar Piastri were also inspected (click the following text to find out the results of those inspections: FIA checks the legality of Mercedes and McLaren: here’s what was discovered).
The Federation’s review focused on the “low-pressure fuel system” and, on the electrical side, “on the connection to the SECU (Standard Electronic Control Unit) and on the homologation of sensors and actuators.”
According to the official report below, “all inspected components were found to be in compliance with the 2025 Technical Regulations.”
