Zandvoort Circuit is a big return to the calendar this year. It’s a great track to drive and the drivers will enjoy the flow and layout, but the racing and overtaking will be a challenge because of the number of fast corners and how narrow it is.
Scuderia Ferrari, as well as the rest of the Formula 1 teams, will be looking for a high downforce configuration taking into consideration the fact that there are a lot of high-speed corners. It is probably similar to the Hungaroring: you need a good front end for change of direction, but you also need loads of downforce.
Follow us later in the afternoon for the latest news, info, updates and live results from the Zandvoort Circuit, as the second free practice session for the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix is about to get underway, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc at the wheel of the Ferrari SF21 car, ready to continue evaluating the ideal set-up ahead of qualifying and the Dutch race.
