The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari first hosted a non-championship Formula One race in 1963 and made its World Championship debut in 1980. It briefly replaced Monza as the Italian Grand Prix before continuing alongside Monza, but under the new title of the San Marino Grand Prix. Imola later made a long-awaited return in 2020.
A new title has been chosen for Formula 1’s return to Imola, which hosted the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix last year. Now Imola is due to hold the second event on the 2021 F1 calendar.
