According to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Scuderia Ferrari’s poor start of the season will lead to several changes in the team structure, as the Italian side has apparently snatched someone from rivals Red Bull, who could prove to be fundamental in giving new life to their simulator. It’s Marco Adurno, an expert in correlation of car dynamics, who will also take care of the development of the simulator.
Italian blogger Leo Turrini, who is famously very close to proceedings at Ferrari, also reports other important changes at the Maranello team, in a recent update post on his blog:
Leo Turrini informs that Alessandro Cinelli is no longer responsible for aerodynamic performance. At the same time, Giacomo Tortora is no longer responsible for the vehicle area (including the relationship with the tyres, which has been a major issue for Scuderia Ferrari in the first five races of the 2019 Formula One season.)
