The vice president of the Prancing Horse remains confident: “We will return to winning.”
Present at the garage
Piero Ferrari spent the entire Qatar Grand Prix weekend at the Ferrari garage, showing his support and solidarity with the team during one of the most challenging weekends of the 2025 season. The Italian vice president gave a candid interview to Italian journalist Paolo Ciccarone of RmcMotori, expressing his disappointment at the results but emphasizing his strong faith in the Ferrari workforce.
Piero Ferrari’s words
“After a race like this, there’s little to say. It’s a blow, a punch in the stomach. It hurts to see Ferrari like this, but I take comfort in knowing there is still one race left, and then we can close the chapter on this championship,” Piero Ferrari remarked, recalling that “throughout history we have had highs and lows, that happens in racing. It doesn’t console me, but we’ve had worse moments and we managed to bounce back.”
In challenging times, it is necessary to remain positive and find points of leverage to move forward. “I am confident we will recover. There are things that haven’t worked, but I can assure you that in Maranello there are also many things that do work. Ferrari will return to winning, we are not giving up. I know the excellence we have at our disposal,” Piero Ferrari concluded at the end of the F1 Qatar Grand Prix weekend.
With Abu Dhabi the final chance to salvage something from 2025, Piero Ferrari’s presence in the garage and his public words served as a reminder that, no matter how deep the current crisis feels, the Scuderia’s DNA is built on never accepting defeat for long.
