**OFFICIAL – Alexander Albon has been disqualified from the Dutch GP qualifying: he will start from the back of the grid. The decisive factor was the detection of an abnormal (excessive) volume of the car’s floor during technical checks.
In the Dutch afternoon, the qualifying session for the Zandvoort GP takes place, marking the return to action for the Circus after the summer break. The last free practice session, heavily affected by rain and red flags, is over, and the drivers get into their cars to fight for pole position.
Just moments before the green light for Q1, the first verdict is already in. The not-so-pleasant news concerns the American Logan Sargeant. The young Williams driver was involved in a heavy crash during FP3. The impact with the barriers disintegrated the North American’s car, which caught fire shortly after. Due to the accident, Sargeant could not participate in the Zandvoort qualifying. The efforts of the British team’s mechanics were in vain.
