Finally, the wait is over: here is the new SF26 in all its beauty. Ferrari’s latest creation, developed under the supervision of Frederic Vasseur and Loïc Serra, is ready to compete for the 2026 Formula 1 world championship, and today its official presentation took place. With a video released across its social media channels, the Maranello-based team showed the world the single-seater with which Ferrari will attempt to bring the world title back home.
These hopes are, of course, shared by both drivers. If Lewis Hamilton is called upon to bounce back after a disastrous first season in red, Charles Leclerc is hoping that Ferrari have finally built a genuine title-winning car. This hope is not only Charles’ but also that of the fans: failing in this new regulatory cycle would first and foremost risk losing Leclerc from 2027 onwards, and then add more years to a drought that is already starting to feel far too long. But Ferrari want to surprise and shine, just like their new livery.

Ferrari head into the 2026 Formula 1 world championship with slightly different colours, as can be seen from the presentation. Obviously, the dominant colour remains red, but this time it appears much glossier and brighter. This represents a significant departure from the red seen on previous cars, where a more matte finish had been the defining feature.
In addition, the Maranello team have not abandoned white. Already present on last year’s livery, albeit in a controversial way, it is now much better distributed across the car, especially around the rear section. This is reminiscent of what was seen in 2016, or even earlier during the Schumacher era, and further back still with Niki Lauda and the legendary 312T.
The HP logo remains, now firmly established as Ferrari’s main sponsor, but this time it is still visible while being far less intrusive than on the SF25. All in all, the SF26 is a car that wants to make everyone dream, fuelled by a shared sense of hope. And if the on-track performance proves to be as brilliant as this shade of red, there will be plenty to enjoy. Welcome, SF26.
