The name of the new Ferrari car

Through a post on its social media channels, Ferrari has revealed the name of its 2026 Formula 1 car. Continuing the naming tradition of recent seasons, the SF-26 will be entrusted to the team’s confirmed drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. The announcement also highlights the new technical cycle, with the tagline: “A new era begins with the SF-26.”

Ferrari’s 2026 program

Important dates for the SF-26 are already set. The car will be officially presented on Friday, 23 January via Ferrari’s social media platforms. Immediately afterward, the team will head to Barcelona for three days of closed-door track testing between 26 and 30 January. This will be followed by the Bahrain tests from 11–13 February and 18–20 February. The 2026 season will kick off shortly after, during the weekend of 8 March in Australia.
