Sky Sports spoke to Mattia Binotto in the break between first and second practice sessions at the Circuit de Catakunya in Spain – and the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal insisted there is no chance that Sebastian Vettel, whose contract expires at the end of the 2020 Formula One season, will not see out the year with the Maranello team.
“That’s completely wrong, there are no reasons for it,” he told Rachel Brookes. “He’s a talented driver, we know his potential and there is nothing to demonstrate on that one. There are no tensions with him at all, he is part of the family. He is behaving well as I think we are behaving well. We have plenty of respect so we will support him and there’s no reason to think even of such a change.” – Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto explained.
