Nicolas Todt, the son of former Ferrari Formula One team principal and current FIA president Jean Todt, is the current manager of many well-known racing drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Daniil Kvyat, Ralf Aron, Felipe Massa, Pastor Maldonado, James Calado, José María López, Caio Collet, Marcus Armstrong and Gabriele Mini. He is the co-owner of the Motorsport team ART Grand Prix.
Nicolas Todt is seen as being very influential in Felipe Massa’s move from Sauber to Ferrari in 2006 and also in Charles Leclerc being promoted to Scuderia Ferrari this season. In a recent interview for motorsport-magazin.com, Nicolas Todt talked about being Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc’s manager:

Does Charles Leclerc have an advantage with you as his manager at Ferrari?
Nicolas Todt: “You can ask Ferrari… I’m not an old man, but I’ve known F1 for over 20 years. I’m not trying to cause problems. I try to stay where I belong. On my position. Am I too influential? I don’t think any team took a driver because of that. I don’t think my father [Jean Todt] even knows all the drivers I manage. Charles Leclerc is with Ferrari because he delivers on track. You can’t deny that! Of course, when there is something to discuss, I’m always there to support my driver. But I just want to make sure that my driver is in the best position. That nothing is against him. That’s all. I’ve got 2 out of 20 drivers in Formula One. That’s not so much. To be honest, when I try to convince a team of a driver, it’s because I believe in him.”
