F1 Monza GP: Ferrari drivers and events that will light up race week in Milan and beyond
As the highly anticipated Italian Grand Prix in Monza approaches, the traditional “Fuori GP” program returns with a rich calendar of events. This year’s festivities will once again animate the entire region surrounding the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, giving Formula 1 fans countless opportunities to celebrate beyond the track. Among the highlights, Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will be present in Milan for special appearances, making this edition even more memorable.
A race that defines Italian motorsport history
For Italian motorsport enthusiasts, the Monza Grand Prix is one of the most important annual events. For 95 years, with 75 of those editions counting towards the Formula 1 World Championship, single-seaters have raced through the legendary high-speed corners of the circuit. Once again, the week of the Monza GP promises not only thrilling action on the track but also an extensive program of initiatives that will spread the festive atmosphere across the surrounding towns.
Excitement in Monza and nearby towns
The weekend from 5 to 7 September will be one to remember. Following last year’s sensational victory by Charles Leclerc, Ferrari fans are once again dreaming of a miracle at home. The Italian circuit, with its long straights and limited number of technical corners, remains perfectly suited to the characteristics of the Ferrari SF-25. Teams run with minimal downforce, reducing wing load to maximize speed, allowing engines to unleash their full power on the straights.
But the spectacle is not limited to what happens on track. Throughout the week, a series of initiatives will entertain locals and visitors alike, blending motorsport passion with culture, music, and entertainment.
Ferrari drivers meet fans in Milan
One of the most anticipated moments of the week will take place on Wednesday, 6 September, when Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will attend a special event at the Palazzo Reale in Milan. Organized in collaboration with team sponsor Peroni Nastro Azzurro, this event will be a unique opportunity for fans to meet their heroes up close in an iconic location, just days before the action begins in Monza.
Fuori GP: seven towns transformed
From Thursday, 4 September to Sunday, 7 September, the “Fuori GP” initiative will once again transform seven towns in Brianza—Monza, Arcore, Biassono, Lesmo, Lissone, Vedano al Lambro, and Villasanta. These municipalities will host a wide variety of free events, offering something for all ages. Fans can enjoy concerts, classic car gatherings, photographic exhibitions, talk shows, street food, and even driving simulators to experience the thrill of racing firsthand.
Historic car parade through Brianza
One of the highlights is scheduled for Friday, 5 September, with a historic car parade organized by Monza Auto Storiche. The parade will start at 18:30 from Villasanta and will pass through all seven towns involved, finishing in Lissone. This celebration of motorsport heritage will allow fans to admire legendary vehicles as they move through the streets, creating a direct link between the past and the present of racing.
Big screens and race weekend atmosphere
Finally, during the race weekend itself, large maxi-screens will be set up in key locations to allow everyone to follow the Formula 1 battle on track. Whether in Monza, Milan, or one of the surrounding towns, fans will be able to gather together and experience the adrenaline of the Italian Grand Prix as a community celebration.
With Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton engaging with supporters in Milan and a packed program of events across Brianza, the Monza Grand Prix week is set to be more than just a race—it will be a festival of speed, culture, and passion that embodies the true spirit of Formula 1 in Italy.
