Unmatched titles
Michael Schumacher reigns supreme with an unmatched record of seven Formula 1 drivers’ titles.
His first two championships came with Benetton in 1994 and 1995, followed by five consecutive titles with Ferrari from 2000 to 2004. Lewis Hamilton equaled this record in 2020, but narrowly missed surpassing Michael Schumacher in 2021 due to a dramatic season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Consistent victories
Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher holds another remarkable record for consecutive seasons with at least one F1 win. From 1992 to 2006, he triumphed in every campaign, except for 1991 (where he participated in only six races) and his three-year stint with Mercedes from 2010 to 2012. Lewis Hamilton has also achieved this feat, securing wins in 15 consecutive championships from 2007 to 2021.
Perfect Podium Streak
In the annals of Formula 1 history, Michael Schumacher stands alone as the only driver to maintain a 100 percent podium finishing rate in a single F1 campaign. This extraordinary accomplishment occurred in 2022 when he claimed a podium finish in all 17 races of the year.
Speed Demon
During his dominant 2004 campaign, Michael Schumacher set a record with ten fastest laps throughout the year. Kimi Raikkonen equaled this feat in 2005 for McLaren and in 2008 for the Maranello team.

Title sealed with races to spare
One of Michael Schumacher’s remarkable records is the number of races remaining after securing the Formula One championship. Last year, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen clinched his second title with four races remaining, while back in 2002, the Ferrari man astoundingly sealed his fifth championship with six races left in the Formula One season.
