A new documentary is scheduled to provide insights into the life of Scuderia Ferrari and Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, according to recent reports.
The seven-time F1 world champion has not been seen in public since sustaining a brain injury in a skiing accident ten years ago. Following his departure from the hospital in 2014, his family has maintained strict privacy regarding his injury and health state.
It has now been confirmed that German broadcaster ARD is producing a five-part documentary, set to air on 28 December, marking ten years since the incident in the French Alps. While the final details of the documentary are yet to be revealed, it aims to shed light on Michael Schumacher’s life.
Throughout his F1 career, the German legend won 91 races and secured five consecutive Drivers Championship titles with the Maranello team between 2000 and 2004.
In 2021, a Netflix documentary titled “Schumacher” featured an update from his wife, Corinna, who mentioned that her husband was “different, but here.”
Ralf Schumacher, the seven-time world champion’s younger brother, recently expressed in German magazine Bunte, “Unfortunately, life isn’t fair sometimes. We have to accept it. When I see his children Gina-Maria and Mick, my heart smiles. If anyone in the family seeks my advice, I am there. They go their own way.”
The Schumacher siblings hold the unique distinction of being the only pair of brothers, each winning a Formula 1 race, with Ralf achieving success six times over a decade in the sport.
