In an interview for Sky Sport, former Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene urged fans to support the Maranello team, especially in times of difficulty:
“It is easy to get on the podium when you win, it is a little less easy to support the team in difficult times” – Maurizio Arrivabene, who is now part of the Administration Board of 1000 Miglia Srl, has no hard feeling towards Scuderia Ferrari, despite being removed from his position at the end of the 2018 Formula One season.
The former team principal, who at the end of the 2015-2018 four-year period has left the command bridge of the Maranello team with two second places scored by Sebastian Vettel in the 2017-2018 drivers’ championship and three second places in the ranking reserved for the teams (in 2015, 2017 and 2018), has asked all Ferrari fans to continue to believe in the Rossa:
“The championship is long and Ferrari must be supported. As ad Camilleri and President John Elkann underlined at the presentation, I always feel part of the family, a company that has given me so much and for which I worked four years with the utmost commitment. When you’re part of that family, you’re part of it forever. We need to support the boys and the team, I always said this even as a team principal. My heart beats for you guys and the mind is always with you, I hope that all the fans do it too”. – former Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene said, as reported by Sky Sport earlier today.
