Kimi Raikkonen believes that Formula 1 is better in the midfield. The Finn moved to Alfa Romeo Racing from Scuderia Ferrari for the 2019 Formula One season and believes the sport is now more enjoyable.

Kimi Raikkonen, who is no stranger to fighting for race wins and battling at the sharp end of F1, insisted that because the racing is much closer in the series’ midfield pack versus at the front, he is enjoying driving more compared to his time with Ferrari. I think the work itself is no different. Basically, I do the same things, it doesn’t matter which team you’re in. For racing, I think there were some good duels. If it’s like in Monaco, then you are even stuck in front of someone, because despite some good duels it is not a good circuit for racing.
