Very short Texan holidays for Scuderia Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto. Before returning to focus on the United States Grand Prix weekend, as Ferrari hopes to be able to challenge Red Bull in Austin, the Maranello team principal enjoyed an evening of leisure watching from the front row the San Antonio Spurs – Charlotte Hornets NBA basketball game (the professional basketball league in North America).
The presence of Mattia Binotto, who several times took part in Basketball challenges during previous Formula 1 weekends in Austin, did not bring luck to the home team. San Antonio, led by the iconic American professional basketball coach Gregg Popovich, lost 129-102 in their first game this season.
