Lewis Hamilton arrived in Maranello this morning to start getting familiar with Ferrari and to discuss preparations for the 2025 Formula 1 season, as captured in videos. The week destined to go down in Formula 1 history has officially begun. Following his arrival in Maranello, Lewis Hamilton began the process of acclimating to the Scuderia Ferrari team. It was certainly not an easy day: since his arrival around 10 a.m., the British driver has been involved in numerous activities that will continue throughout the afternoon and in the coming days.
As explained by Ferrari in an official statement, after the photo session, Lewis visited the pit box and the Fiorano house with Fred Vasseur and Benedetto Vigna, also stepping into Enzo Ferrari’s historic office. He then returned to headquarters to meet with management and Piero Ferrari before immersing himself in an in-depth introduction to the various departments.
Tomorrow, he faces another workday filled with technical meetings and briefings in preparation for the 2025 season. A short while ago, as shown in videos shared on social media by fans waiting outside Ferrari’s GES in Maranello, Lewis Hamilton, accompanied by Chairman John Elkann, greeted the crowd and posed for photos and signed autographs.
The anticipation among fans was immense. They had to wait nearly a year to see the seven-time world champion arrive in Maranello. In the coming days, Lewis Hamilton will participate in a simulator session, and on Wednesday, he is set to make his debut on the Fiorano circuit.
The British driver also spoke with fans in Italian, and Chairman John Elkann thrilled everyone with a resounding “Forza Ferrari.”
