Leo Turrini, a well-known Formula 1 journalist and pundit, has imagined Charles Leclerc’s letter to Santa Claus, stating that “it is shared by millions of Ferrari fans.”
A single mission: turn a dream into reality
The Monegasque driver dreams of becoming a world champion driving for the Prancing Horse, harboring an unconditional love for the Ferrari team. In the first five years at Scuderia Ferrari, however, the Monegasque has failed to turn his dream into reality. Charles Leclerc has not yet had a car capable of contending for the championship until the end.
Ferrari fans have had to endure a title drought since 2007 for the Drivers’ Championship when Kimi Raikkonen secured a thrilling victory in the last round of the season and since 2008 for the Constructors’ Championship.
Just as every time the start of the new season is awaited, fans of the most successful team in the history of F1 hope that the next year could be the return to success.

“[Leclerc, ed.] Asks Santa for a very simple thing: ‘Would it be possible for you to get me a red car as fast as your sleigh?'” Leo Turrini continued.
“I believe this is a question shared by millions of Ferrari fans,” the journalist concluded.
The hope of the fans of the Prancing Horse and Charles Leclerc is that the Ferrari 2024 is indeed what the SF-23 should have been, namely “a car unprecedented in terms of speed.”
