**15 Years Later**
Over 15 years have passed since Ferrari’s last Drivers’ World Championship title in Formula 1. On October 21, 2007, Kimi Raikkonen won the Brazilian Grand Prix and became the world champion at the end of an unforgettable season filled with emotions and twists, narrowly beating McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso by just one point.
In these days, more than three lustres after that special date for all Prancing Horse fans, Raikkonen himself wanted to send a thrill of emotion down the spines of passionate Ferrari supporters. The Finn has recently posted a beautiful shot on his Instagram account, capturing his son Robin in the trophy room in Maranello, admiring the mementos of his illustrious father.
**Passion Inherited from Dad Kimi**
Robin was born on January 28, 2015, seven years and three months after Kimi’s lone World Championship victory. At the age of eight, he already seems well on his way to following in his father’s footsteps. The son of the former Sauber, McLaren, and Ferrari star has successfully competed in several kart races, even securing a podium this year at a race held in Castelletto di Branduzzo.
“That’s my dad,” reads the caption accompanying the photo shared on social media by senior Raikkonen. Robin also posed alongside his dad’s F2007, which remains to this day the last Ferrari capable of achieving at least nine Grand Prix victories in a single season.
