Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Fred Vasseur take on the roles of a trio of criminals for an advertisement: here’s the video.
Late at night on the streets of Rome, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, under the guidance of Fred Vasseur, prepare to pull off a heist.
A bit like “La Casa de Papel,” a bit like “Ocean’s Eleven,” down with the ski masks: the Monegasque and the Spaniard, guided by earpiece by their team principal, enter the Peroni Nastro Azzurro brewery to find their target.
“We did great in the tests. Now we do this for the fans,” says Fred Vasseur.
Like in a crime movie, the two drivers and the Ferrari team principal become the protagonists of an advertisement for a well-known brand. The ad was shared on the social channels of the Italian brand.
As you might have read in our previous articles, starting this year, Estrella Galicia will no longer be a partner of the Scuderia Ferrari and will instead join McLaren.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro, previously a sponsor of Aston Martin, thus becomes a new partner of the Prancing Horse.
For the occasion, the Italian beer brand has launched a one-minute advertisement in which Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and Fred Vasseur play the roles of criminals on a special mission. What mission? You’ll only find out by watching the video, which we leave at the end of the article.
Quotes galore
Peroni’s ad not only announces the partnership with Scuderia Ferrari but also includes many quotes that will please the fans. From Sainz’s “smooth operation,” the phrase after the victory in Singapore 2023 (Smooth Operator is also one of his nicknames), to the ‘Ferrari’ stands that can be seen everywhere in the video.
This is not the first time “the two Carls” have been featured in advertising spots. In 2022, Ferrari’s current lineup had taken part in Shell V Power’s ad.
Here’s the video with the commercial, which we’ll likely see on television soon:
