In the announcement of the new collaboration between Ferrari and Peroni, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are portrayed with a “new” suit: spoiler or false alarm?
For months, there had been talk of a partnership between Ferrari and Peroni. It has now been officially confirmed with a promotional video that brought smiles to all the fans of the Scuderia. To announce the collaboration, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were captured wearing a new suit, very different from the one used by Ferrari during the last season: is it a spoiler?
Most likely not; it could be a false alarm. The suits worn in the photo released by Peroni and Ferrari appear to be the ones usually used for pre-season tests at Fiorano. These suits, in fact, have a much more sober look, with the main sponsors of the Maranello team, including the new Italian company.
These suits are typically worn before the official suit is released for use during the season. The one in the ad is completely red without the classic black details that characterized the suits worn by the duo Charles Leclerc – Carlos Sainz in the last two F1 seasons.
However, in the video where the name is announced, some details on the cuffs (which appear to be white) can be noticed, revealing a new choice for both the suits and the livery. Thus, Ferrari may have abandoned the black details to replace them with white, as was done for the Las Vegas GP.

Returning to the photo of the partnership with Peroni, though, a detail can be observed that might be a small spoiler. The caps worn by the two drivers appear to be exclusive. This could be a small preview of the merchandise Ferrari will choose for the upcoming Formula 1 season starting in exactly one month.
