As the Monaco Grand Prix approaches, attention is once again turning to Charles Leclerc’s home race and the special touches Ferrari traditionally prepares for one of the most important weekends on the Formula 1 calendar.
Over the past few seasons, the Scuderia has made a habit of creating exclusive merchandise and special designs for selected events, and Monaco has consistently been one of the highlights. This year appears to be no exception, with leaked images emerging online that reportedly reveal the special cap and race suit Charles Leclerc will wear during the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
The photos, which have been circulating on social media platform X, provide an early preview of what could become one of Ferrari’s most popular special-edition collections of the season.
A special Monaco look for Charles Leclerc
Ferrari fans have grown accustomed to seeing exclusive merchandise released around key races, particularly when those events hold special significance for one of the team’s drivers. For Charles Leclerc, no race carries more emotional importance than Monaco.
The Monegasque driver has repeatedly spoken about his desire to perform well on the streets where he grew up, and that attention to detail extends beyond his on-track performance. Style has become an increasingly important part of Leclerc’s public image, and earlier this year he expanded his personal clothing collection with several new fashion items, further highlighting his interest in the world of design and apparel.
As a result, Ferrari’s decision to create a Monaco-themed collection for its hometown hero comes as little surprise.
In recent years, special merchandise has often been accompanied by unique visual elements on the car itself, leading some fans to wonder whether Ferrari could also unveil a one-off Monaco livery. At the moment, however, there has been no official confirmation from the team.
White and red colours inspired by Monaco
According to the leaked images, Ferrari has opted for a clean and elegant design dominated by white, with red accents appearing throughout the collection.
The Scuderia logo on the cap is finished in red, while the race suit features matching details and a striking bright-red underlayer. The colour scheme is clearly inspired by the flag of Monaco, creating a strong visual connection between Charles Leclerc and his home Principality.

The minimalist design represents a departure from Ferrari’s traditional race-weekend appearance while still maintaining the iconic colours associated with both the Scuderia and Monaco itself.
Monaco could offer Ferrari a major opportunity
The timing of the reveal comes as Ferrari prepares for what many believe could be one of its most competitive weekends of the season.
The unique characteristics of the Monaco circuit may help offset the SF-26’s biggest weakness: its estimated power deficit compared to the leading Mercedes-powered rivals. With no long straights and a heavy emphasis on low-speed corners, mechanical grip and chassis performance, Monaco presents a very different challenge compared to tracks like Montreal.
Many observers believe Ferrari’s strong combination of aerodynamic efficiency, chassis balance and mechanical performance could allow the team to close much of the gap that has limited its ability to fight for pole positions and victories elsewhere.

Charles Leclerc’s exceptional record around the streets of Monte Carlo only adds to the optimism. The Ferrari driver has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to extract maximum performance on his home circuit, and he will undoubtedly be aiming to secure a second Monaco Grand Prix victory in front of his home crowd.
Of course, perfection will be required. Monaco remains one of the most demanding weekends of the Formula 1 season, where qualifying performance, strategy and execution often prove decisive. Nevertheless, until Ferrari introduces further engine developments later in the year, many see Monaco as one of the team’s best opportunities to challenge at the very front.
For now, fans can enjoy the first glimpse of Charles Leclerc’s special Monaco race gear while waiting to see whether Ferrari has any additional surprises planned for one of the most anticipated weekends of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
