At AlphaTauri, it’s time to say goodbye to a team member: Josh Kruse, who was bid farewell by Yuki Tsunoda on the team radio at the conclusion of the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, will be moving from Faenza to Maranello, joining the Scuderia Ferrari.
The radio communication from the Japanese driver came at the end of the race which was held on Sunday at the 4.361-kilometre Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal. The 2000-born driver affectionately said goodbye to Josh Kruse, thanking him for the past three years spent together and wishing him a future of success with the Prancing Horse: “Thank you, Josh. Thank you for the last three years! Good luck at Ferrari: bye bye”

Many may wonder: who is the “Josh” mentioned by Yuki Tsunoda? First of all, it is important to clarify that, in this case, the Ferrari market does not involve engineers. The message from the Japanese driver is directed at Josh Kruse, the social media manager and content manager of the AlphaTauri team.
The Australian will move from Faenza to nearby Maranello to handle the content of the Prancing Horse social media accounts. Confirming the news on his Twitter profile is journalist Chris Medland, who, in response to some messages, writes: “He’s not bidding farewell to an engineer but to the brilliant Josh Kruse, who will be working on Ferrari’s content.”
