Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt has become a grandfather: the announcement was made on Instagram by his wife Michelle Yeoh. The couple got married last July in Geneva after 19 years of cohabitation.
It is the second marriage for both. In March of last year, Yeoh made Oscar history by becoming the first Asian woman to win the award for Best Leading Actress (for her role in “Everything Everywhere All At Once”).
It was the actress herself who first gave the happy news. Michelle Yeoh posted a photo of a baby’s foot resting on a hand and wrote as a caption: “A little miracle on the first day of 2024. We are really lucky… I can’t tell you how happy I am for this bundle of very, very special joy.”
Immediate congratulations from her fans, who initially thought the actress had become a mother. Later, she clarified what she meant with that announcement.
Nicolas Todt, Jean’s son, has become a father for the first time. In another separate post on Instagram, Yeoh shared some touching photos with her husband and wrote: “Thank you dear Nicolas and Darina for making us the happiest and proudest grandparents!! Welcome little Maxime.”
Jean Todt is one of the most influential personalities in the world of Formula 1. His wife Michelle Yeoh, whom he met in 2004, achieved recognition last year. Of Malaysian origin, the actress became famous for her action films.
