It was another consistent morning session for Scuderia Ferrari on the second day of the last 2022 Formula 1 pre-season testing session which takes place in Bahrain, as Charles Leclerc managed to complete 54 laps and finished in second place.
At the end of the morning session, former Scuderia Ferrari driver Jean Alesi was interviewed by Sky Sports about his old team’s championship hopes for the 2022 Formula 1 season.
“The last two years Ferrari had bad seasons, because even if last year they finished third in the championship, that was recovering from a terrible season before,” Jean Alesi said, as reported by Sky Sports – “It’s a winning a team, a team who are always looking for world championships, podiums and wins. They are really dreaming to be back on the top. The fans and the teams, I believe after testing, the car looks very competitive. Without single problem for reliability, which is absolutely important, we’ve never seen the car in low-speed corners or high-speed corners in a bad situation, so I hope they can be back on top.” – the former Scuderia Ferrari driver explained, sharing some insight into the events at the Bahrain International Circuit.
