Italian national sports newspaper ‘Corriere dello Sport’ reports on Scuderia Ferrari’s car for the 2020 Formula One season, the SF1000, as the Maranello team will officially present the Formula 1 car it will race this year at the historic Romolo Valli Municipal Theatre, in the city of Reggio Emilia. The curtain goes up at 18.30 on Tuesday 11 February, while fans can follow the presentation live, as it streams on the Scuderia’s digital platforms.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the SF1000 will have a matt finish, but a darker red colour. The number of the drivers will be very visible like the design used in 1970/early 1980s (a tribute to Gilles Villeneuve!). A particular version of the Italian flag will be shown too!

Regarding the most important technical aspects, the weak points of the aerodynamics have been changed in order to obtain more aerodynamic load in the slower corners. We will see a more complex new Ferrari, a less tidy design. The main aim was to get stronger in the corners.
According to the article from Corriere dello Sport, the design of the front, the “bellies” and the wheelbase of the new Ferrari have not changed. On the Power Unit side: research have been made to have more power, also on the electrical side and to be better when it comes to fuel consumption.
