In 2022, the merits of Scuderia Ferrari’s work go beyond the engineering, mechanical and sporting aspects. The Maranello team has in fact rekindled the passion of the fans and those dreams that seemed far away until a few months ago are now real tagrets for the Italian side.
From this point of view, the confirmation of Imola remaining on the Formula 1 calendar until at least 2025 has come just at the right time, even if the response of the public for the race on 24 April is not yet what the organization expected (out of a total capacity of over 140 thousand people, 94 thousand tickets were sold, while the circuit has set itself the goal of exceeding 100 thousand fans in the three days for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix).
In any case, the sea of red fans will be there to support the Scuderia Ferrari drivers and this is enough for Charles Leclerc, who returns to Italy with real chances of winning a race after the 2019 Italian Grand Prix, which remains a memorable moment for Charles: “In between there have been two years in which I have seen a qualitative leap in the way in which we analyze the weekends. I am confident that the team can do a great development work this year. Thirty-four points is always a good margin, but I don’t want to focus too much on the championship for now,” the Ferrari driver said, as reported by formulapassion.it – “Imola and Monza will be incredible Grands Prix, but we need to approach the race weekends exactly as we did with these first three weekends. I think it’s extremely important not to put extra pressure on ourselves and not try to overdo it. We have been working very well since the start of the season and we just have to keep doing our job.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver concluded.
