From the 2021 Formula One season, Carlos Sainz will be Charles Leclerc’s new teammate at Scuderia Ferrari. The Monegasque driver has been with the Italian team for some time by then and seems to be taking the lead, but he himself does not speak of a number one role.

Over the years Ferrari has mostly chosen a construction in which one driver goes for the world title and the other mainly supports. “I’m not suddenly number one in Ferrari. Carlos is a great driver and he will show that to the world. For me it will be a tough job and different from driving with Sebastian.
