Let’s take a look at the race strategies anticipated by Pirelli for the 2024 Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at the Jeddah circuit: it seems to be heading towards a single pit stop.
Among the variables that can determine the outcome of a race, the choice of the right strategies is undoubtedly crucial. Let’s see what Pirelli envisions for the F1 Saudi Arabian GP.
According to Pirelli’s predictions, the trend should lean towards a single pit stop. The fastest strategy is expected to involve starting with medium tires before switching to hard tires. In this scenario, the pit stop window is estimated to be between the nineteenth and twenty-fifth lap.
An alternative could be to start with soft tires and then switch to hard tires. In this case, the pit stop window would be shifted earlier, between the fifteenth and twenty-first lap.
The third option available to the teams involves starting on medium tires with a subsequent switch to soft tires. In this case, the pit stop window would be between the twenty-eighth and thirty-fifth lap.
For this weekend, Pirelli has also provided a fourth option for the teams. In this case, after starting with soft tires, there would be a switch first to medium and then to soft tires. In this scenario, the pit stop window would be between the tenth and sixteenth lap and between the thirtieth and thirty-sixth lap.

It is important to note that for the first weekend of the year, Pirelli has chosen to bring the hard C2, medium C3, and soft C4 compounds to the track. These are the sets of tires still available to the teams:
