From Ferrari to F1: Santander becomes the official partner of most important motorsport series. Spanish bank Santander recently announced its separation from Ferrari.

F1-Santander Agreement

Formula 1 and Santander, one of the world’s largest banks, will become partners. The Circus announced this just a few minutes ago: the multi-year agreement will start in 2025, and Ferrari’s sponsor (until the end of the current season) will become the Official Retail Banking Partner of Formula 1.

Santander has been involved in Formula 1 since 2006 when it became a sponsor of McLaren and has stayed in the sport for 15 years. Its logo will be featured on trackside signage at various Grands Prix, while F1 will assist in the development of Santander’s Openbank in the United States.

Santander has a great history in our sport,” commented F1 President and former Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali. “I want to thank Ana Botín, Group Executive Chair of Santander, and Juan Manuel Cendoya, Global Head of Communications, Corporate Marketing and Research, as well as Vice President of Santander Spain, for the passion and commitment they have put into this exciting collaboration. Emilio Botín’s comments

This partnership will help create value across the group and marks a new important chapter in our relationship with F1.” – concluded the executive chairman of Spain’s Grupo Santander.
