“There’s no two without three” — that’s the hope accompanying Scuderia Ferrari ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The team arrives at Interlagos with renewed optimism after two strong performances: a third place in Austin followed by a second in Mexico City, both achieved by Charles Leclerc.
The SF-25 seems to have finally revealed its full potential in this closing phase of the season. Ferrari’s engineers have gained a deeper understanding of the car, allowing them to extract maximum performance from it. This progress has helped the Maranello squad reclaim second place in the Constructors’ Championship against Mercedes.
São Paulo marks the fourth-to-last race of the year and features another Sprint weekend — meaning there will only be one free practice session. As a result, it will be crucial for Ferrari to arrive at the circuit with a well-prepared base setup, developed through extensive simulation work at home.
Preparation at Maranello and support from the remote garage
Team principal Frédéric Vasseur refrains from making bold predictions but confirms the wave of optimism that’s sweeping through the team, which now appears to have left its most difficult phase behind.
“At Interlagos, we’ll face the fifth Sprint weekend of the season, which represents another demanding challenge for the entire team, both physically and mentally,” said the French manager. “In such a compact format, every detail becomes even more critical — from the preparation work carried out in Maranello to the real-time support provided by our remote garage.”
Fred Vasseur remains confident as Ferrari continues to build momentum: “We arrive in Brazil full of energy and positivity, coming off two strong weekends in Austin and Mexico City, where we maximized the car’s potential. Our goal is to keep this momentum going, stay focused on execution, and be ready to make the most of whatever weather conditions we might encounter in São Paulo.”
