Scuderia Ferrari has not had an easy Friday during the first two practice sessions ahead of the 2017 Spanish GP, as Mercedes seemed to be more competitive on a single lap, but also when it comes to the race-past, despite the fact that the Maranello team proved very strong in the first four rounds of the Formula One season. Mercedes brought a major update to the power united, but also with many new aerodynamic elements which could prove to be a big challenge for Scuderia Ferrari in the attempt to retake the lead in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings.
